The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue their three game BC Division road trip tonight as they make their lone visit to the BC Capital to face the Victoria Royals at 8:00pm Alberta Time at the Save-On Foods Memorial Centre.
The Hurricanes (7-7-1-1) are coming off a 2-1 overtime victory in Kamloops on Wednesday night. The victory over the Blazers snapped a four game road losing streak for the ‘Canes and improved their road record to 2-4-0-1. Giorgio Estephan scored in regulation while Jordy Bellerive netted the overtime winner. The win was the Hurricanes second straight after snapping a six game losing streak on Saturday night.
The Royals (9-7-2-0) are coming off a 6-4 victory on Tuesday night over the Red Deer Rebels at home. Four players had multiple point nights in the victory for the Royals while Chaz Reddekopp led the way with three assists. The Royals have posted a 4-4-0-0 record on home ice this season. Tonight is the second of an eight game home stand for Victoria.
Tonight will be the second of three meetings this season between the Hurricanes and the Royals. Lethbridge took the first meeting on October 12th at the ENMAX Centre by a 5-2 score. Tune into 106.7 ROCK starting at 7:45pm for the pre-game show with Dustin Forbes.

Starting to Roll: The Hurricanes will look to continue their good fortune tonight against the Royals. After a six game losing streak, the ‘Canes have won two straight after earning a 2-1 win in Kamloops on Wednesday. Tonight will be the second meeting of the season between the Hurricanes and Royals.
The ‘New’ WEB Line: The Hurricanes put Jordy Bellerive, Giorgio Estephan and Tyler Wong together on the same line on Saturday night against the Rebels and since doing so the ‘Canes are 2-0-0-0. The trio has combined for 11 points and six of the last eight games the Hurricanes have scored entering play tonight.

Long Home Stand: After playing ten of their first 17 games on the road, the Royals kicked off an eight game home stand on Tuesday with a 6-4 win over the Red Deer Rebels. Victoria will play just two road games in the month of October. The Royals are 4-4-0-0 on home ice this season.
Soy Sauce: The Royals top sniper from a year ago Tyler Soy is starting to find his stride. The Anaheim Ducks draft pick netted 46 goals last season along with 85 points. The 19-year-old leads the Royals in goals (10) and points (20) entering play tonight and has eight points in his last four games.
