The Lethbridge Hurricanes will wrap up a mini two-game Washington State road trip tonight as they visit the Tri-City Americans at 8:00pm MT.
The Hurricanes are coming off a 5-3 victory last night over the Spokane Chiefs snapping a 13-year losing skid. Tyler Wong netted a three point night scoring twice while adding an assist. Giorgio Estephan had a two assist night while Stuart Skinner made 30 saves for the victory.
The win for the Hurricanes evened their road record to 1-1-0-0 on the season and improved it to 4-2-0-0 on the year.
The Americans are coming off a victory last night in Everett over the Silvertips. Tri-City enters play tonight 3-3-0-0 on the year.

Wong-derful: Hurricanes Captain Tyler Wong has been outstanding since returning from Toronto Maple Leafs camp. The defending Hurricanes goal scoring leader has racked up four goals and seven points in three games.
Long Streak: Last night the ‘Canes earned their first win in Spokane since 13 years dating back to 2003. Tonight, the Hurricanes will look to end a longer streak as Lethbridge has not won in Tri-City since 1999.

Rasmussen Tearing It Up: Americans second year forward Michael Rasmussen has been lighting up the WHL. The Surrey, BC product has pumped home a league-leading eight goals in the first six games of the season.
Beat Up Early: The Americans have been dealing with a ton of early injuries. Tri-City is has seven players on the shelf including important pieces like forward Jordan Topping and goaltender Evan Sarthou who are both out week-to-week with lower-body injuries.
