Lethbridge Point of View

Rookie Delight: After struggling at the start of the year as he acclimatized to the Western Hockey League, Jaeger White appears to be a whole lot more comfortable. The 16-year-old rookie is currently riding a seven game point streak having collected 8 points (3g-5a) in that span. He also has 10 points (3g-7a) in his last 11 outings.

Anholt’s Stamp: Hurricanes new Head Coach and GM has begun putting his stamp on the hockey club. This week has been busy for Anholt as the trade deadline approaches (noon Saturday). Anholt has pulled the trigger on a number of roster moves this week, including:

Acquiring 17-year-old defenseman Brady Reagan from the Regina Pats in exchange for 19-year-old forward Taylor Cooper.

Claiming 17-year-old rookie import forward Florian Baltram off waivers from the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Reassigning 19-year-old forward Dexter Bricker to the Melfort Mustangs of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (Junior-A).
